The 39th annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival, taking place from June 21st to 30th, 2024, boasts over 150 performances, including more than 50 free events. The opening weekend will host Downtown Jazz, a complimentary concert series held outside the Vancouver Art Gallery on šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square, on June 22nd and 23rd. Granville Island will serve as the central location for the festival activities, offering both free and ticketed shows at Performance Works, Ocean Artworks, and the Revue Stage. Additionally, various live jazz performances will be spread across downtown theaters, clubs, and North Shore venues throughout the festival duration.
